I met Jana 2018 in the eastern part of Germany and together we visited Erfurt, Halle, Weimar and Quedlinburg. Jana is originally from Prague, the capital of czechia but she wanted to join me on this trip. So this is Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, known for its medieval Old Town and Gothic architecture and of course the Krämerbrücke. This bridge is a historic merchant’s bridge, lined with half-timbered houses definitely a one-of-a-kind structure in Europe.
