In February 2005 I went to Venice again meeting FRANCESCA and joining the Carnival in Venice. It was such a beautiful, sunny day!
Anselm Kiefer is one of the greatest artists of the present and though art is always a matter of taste an interrests I guess I can say his work and the way he is working is one of a kind. So I used the opportunity in April 2025 to visit this impressive exhibition in Amsterdam.

You can see all these photographs in the other galleries because I make them during my traveling. But as I am a fan of this architekt I had to make an own gallery just of these fantastic buildings. His work is not without controversy, because there are real problems from timt to time, as far as I know especially concerning the bridge in Venice.
But they look so great and I think of it more as "public art".
This gallery is still growing, so check back! ;-)

My GRAZIELLA is very close with LORELLA, a young racing talent driving for Ferrari, so went to see her and she showed us around in Maranello. The Enzo Ferrari Museum, the factory and the Pista di Fiorano, a test track specially built for Ferrari. Good fun! ;-)
Not just one hour drive from Amsterdam lies the Keukenhof which is actually a park and not a farm. As far as I know it is one of the greatest flower shows on the planet.
If you love flowers it's a must! ;-)

MARIA from Carinthia informed me in summer 2019 that there is a strange art-show in the Wörthersee football stadium in Klagenfurt. "FOR FOREST – The Unending Attraction of Nature" was a temporary art intervention by Klaus Littmann, a swiss artist. He used 300 trees (some of them weigh up to six tonnes!!!) were put into a soccer stadium for nearly 2 months. The artist mentioned that he had worked on the idea for years, but couldn't find a stadium/arena big enough and not really in use. Strange problems of an artist!
But finally he did find one in Klagenfurt and it was a really very wonderful atmoshere. Particularly in the evening hours. See yourself.

In September 2024 the "Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister" in the beautiful City of Dresden was holding an exhibition of Caspar David Friedrich. Of course I had to see this Master of Romanticism...
The 27th of April is the birthday of the dutch King and of my photographer Arnd too. Everyone is dressing in orange, or at least wears some orange accessories. And then there is party. All day long. And all night long. All over the city (in my case Amsterdam). And all over the country. See yourself...
